(Bob) Thornton, M.Ed., is Director of the Community Corrections Institute , LLC, a company dedicated to providing training and consultation specifically designed for parole, probation and community corrections agencies. This FREE 7 hour program will provide safety training in the area of liability, mental health issues, use of force, office and field safety, strategies for survival and much more. (No physical activities) You will learn to be more aware of your everyday surroundings. **Please note this program is designed primarly for probation officers and social workers but concepts are aplicable for educators as well.

Cancellation Policy:
If the participant has already paid, he/she will be refunded half the cost of the registration fee if written notice of cancellation is received by the Correctional Management Institute of Texas no later than ten (10) business days prior to the program. No refunds are available after this date, but substitutions of attendees are permitted. If no written cancellation is received and the participant does not attend the program, the participant/agency will be required to pay 100% of the registration fee if the registration fee was not previously paid.
