Designed for mid-management leadership, the Criminal Justice Leadership Program gives you access to nearly one hundred years of leadership experience in Criminal Justice. The Mayan Ranch in Bandera sits on more than 340 acres in Texas Hill Country, 47 miles northwest of San Antonio. The hospitality of the Hicks family is unparalleled as they host cowboy breakfasts, a steak dinner cookout, demonstrations of lassoing and bullwhips, live music, and provide everything you need for a fruitful week in the Cowboy Capital of the World. They have owned and operated the ranch for 60 years. For more details about the Mayan Ranch, go to http://www.mayanranch.com/. Arrive Monday evening, June 16, for registration and dinner, and kick off the program first thing Tuesday morning. The program will conclude at noon on Friday, June 20.
PLEASE NOTE: While participants are responsible for remitting payment to the Mayan Ranch during the program, CMIT WILL MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS. THERE IS NO NEED TO CALL THE RANCH TO MAKE RESERVATIONS.
Course Payment: Please make checks for $325.00 payable to Sam Houston State University.
Lodging and Meals Payment is $121.00 per day ($91 lodging; $30 meals per day) to the Mayan Ranch to be paid during the program. This is a special discounted rate for our group.
Please visit the Mayan Ranch website at www.mayanranch.com for maps, directions, photos, and other material.
Also, program payment to Sam Houston State University can be made via check or credit card and can be made before, at, or after the training.
Ranch costs are on a PER PERSON basis. If you are bringing someone who is not attending the program, they will need to pay the Ranch fees as well, even if you will be sharing a cabin.
