Thomas Johnson, Ed.D., retired after 20 years of service with the Houston Police Department as the Director of Planning and Research in the Crime Analysis Division. He has published in various journals since 2000, including the Texas Law Reporter . His article, “Achievement Levels of College-Educated Police Cadets,” will be available in an upcoming edition. Dr. Johnson was an adjunct lecturer for Sam Houston State University’s College of Criminal Justice, teaching such courses as Police Professionalism and Ethics. In addition, he has been a TCLEOSE Instructor for the Houston Police Academy for more than 19 years. Dr. Johnson is currently Director of the Tyler Junior College Law Enforcement Academy.

Cancellation Policy:
If the participant has already paid, he/she will be refunded half the cost of the registration fee if written notice of cancellation is received by the Correctional Management Institute of Texas no later than ten (10) business days prior to the program. No refunds are available after this date, but substitutions of attendees are permitted. If no written cancellation is received and the participant does not attend the program, the participant/agency will be required to pay 100% of the registration fee if the registration fee was not previously paid.
